Renee is a national leader in addressing gender-based violence with a proven track record driving significant reform both within and outside government. She has over 20 years of experience in gender-based violence policy, prevention, response and advocacy and specialises in addressing gender-based violence in higher education. 

Renee led the development of the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence and the Action Plan Addressing Gender-based Violence in Higher Education. She’s the former CEO of the national lobby group for the domestic, family and sexual violence sector and led the university sector’s work to address violence against women for over 7 years. 

Renee has worked with and advised Ministers, senior leaders in higher education and industry executives on strategies to prevent gender-based violence and improve support for victim-survivors. Her academic and practice background is in psychology, working with women and families experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence and children in the care of the state.

Anna is a public policy specialist with over 15 years of experience in policy development, law reform, public affairs and government. Anna has a PhD in public health with a specific focus on the impact of women's empowerment in household health outcomes. 

Anna has been a senior adviser to government, providing policy, strategic and legislative advice to Ministers across the justice and health portfolios. She has significant stakeholder management experience across government, the private and not-for-profit sectors at a state, national and international level. 

Anna is a women's policy specialist and an advocate for women's economic empowerment, women's health and women in leadership. She is committed to driving positive change across all sectors. 

Deb has deep expertise in working with government clients to provide strategic policy advice and development, legislative reform processes, ministerial engagement and briefings, drafting key documents and stakeholder consultation. 

Deb has almost 10 years of legal policy and legislative reform experience as an officer in the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department and the Attorney-General’s Office where she was responsible for the then Government’s legislation program. Deb then spent five years leading PwC Canberra’s legislative service offerings.

Deb is experienced in collaborating with government departments, private organisations and community sectors around legal process and policy issues and legislative reform.
